I was dead set against ebook readers for book club stuff

My book club in Denver has been doing physical books for 5 years. I argued ebooks ruin the feel of reading and make it harder to flip back to earlier chapters. Then my friend loaned me her Kindle for our 600 page pick last month, and I actually finished it 3 days early since I could read at the gym. Has anyone else changed their mind this late about something you were sure you hated?

Funny timing, my dad gave me a hard time for years about my big screen TV. Thought it was a waste of money and ruined the movie experience. Then I found out he secretly bought one after watching a football game at my place and loving it.

omg @wyatt_green31 is that not the most dad thing ever? lmao they'll act all judgy for years then turn around and do the exact same thing and pretend it was their idea the whole time. glad he came around in the end though.
