Had to pick between the slow read and the spoiler thread, regret my choice hard
Our club voted on The Last House on Needless Street and half of us wanted to take it slow, savor the twists. The other half wanted to rush ahead and chat about the ending early in the week. I sided with the slow group because I hate spoilers, but then my buddy Dave texted me a meme about the cat narrator on day 3. That hint basically ruined the whole reveal for me, and by the time we met Thursday I already knew the big secret. The fast group had a blast dissecting everything in real time while I sat there annoyed. Now I'm stuck wondering if we should split into two separate reading tracks next month or if that just kills the shared debate. Has anyone else had this blow up on them, and how do you handle pacing disagreements without spoiling the magic?
