Had a book club debate get way too heated over a character's 'redemption arc' last night
Three of us nearly stopped talking because some thought the guy deserved a second chance and others said he was irredeemable after that one scene in chapter 9. We had to put a 5 minute timer on each argument just to get through the rest of the discussion. Has anyone else had a debate that almost killed their book club?

Our chapter 9 debate got so tense we had to vote on whether we could even bring up that character again.
