Took me 3 hours to fit a 3 inch pipe into a 2 inch flange...
Boss handed me the wrong part and I spent the whole morning trying to make it work before someone finally checked the warehouse slip. Anyone else waste half a shift on a simple mismatch?

Man I feel your pain, nothing worse than grinding on a job that could've been done in 20 minutes if someone just handed you the right piece. Had that exact thing happen with a motor mount last month, guy in the back swore it was the right part and I must've been installing it wrong. Three hours later we find out the part number was off by one digit. Makes you want to just walk off the site for the day.

It's like everything's designed to fail in the most time wasting way possible lol.

[There's a four-door fridge in my friend's shop](http://example.com) that's been sitting half-disassembled for two months because the gasket was the wrong shape. The part number was correct according to the system. But the gasket itself had a slight curve difference that made it useless. Nobody caught it because nobody actually checked against the real thing. That's not lazy design. That's lazy people.
