Three months back I could barely pass the 90-day weld test at Local 74.
Kept blowing porosity on horizontal fillets. Switched to a 3/32 7018 rod and dropped my amp setting 10 lower. Anyone else have a small tweak suddenly make everything click on the job site?

My first year in the shop I spent a whole week fighting with a MIG gun that just wouldn't feed right. Turns out I had the tension set too tight the whole time, and backing it off a quarter turn fixed everything. Small tweaks really can make or break your day, your mileage may vary but it's worth a shot.

Dropping amp ten and switching rod sounds like the exact fix for that porosity headache.
