Hit 100 pressure vessel welds with zero rework and it shocked me

I kept a log for the last 6 months working at a plant outside Pittsburgh. My old foreman always said aiming for zero rework was a pipe dream. So when I hit 100 welds in a row passing inspection on the first try, I had to check my records twice. Has anyone else tracked numbers like this and surprised yourself?

The trick I found was slowing down just a little on the setup. Taking that extra minute to double check the fit up saved me hours of fixing things later. It felt like it was wasting time at first but the numbers don't lie.
