After buying three duds in a row from the shelf at Dragon's Lair last spring, I started asking the staff to run a quick 15-minute playthrough and now I save around $60 a month on games, has anyone else had luck with in-store demos changing their buying habits?

Did the staff at Dragon's Lair actually let you play through a full 15 minutes?

Used to think those clips were just cherry picked moments. But a buddy recorded his whole hour there and it was like 20 minutes of actual playtime, the staff were just watching him and laughing at his reactions. Changed my whole view on those videos honestly, that kind of trust is rare.
