Paid $60 for a foam dice tower, my cat sleeps in it now
Bought one of those fancy foam dice towers at a convention in Denver, thought it would be a great upgrade for game night. Turns out the foam absorbs every roll and my dice just plop down, plus my cat claimed it as a bed within 3 days. Anyone else regret a gimmicky accessory that sounded cool but killed the table feel?

Foam absorbs every roll" is right, mine just goes thump like a sad little pancake. My cat also claimed mine, so now I'm paying $60 for a cat bed that happens to look like a castle. Honestly, that's probably the most use it's gotten.
