My first time painting miniatures took 6 hours for the face alone
I finally decided to try painting the board game miniatures I've had in a box for 2 years. I watched maybe 3 tutorials and thought I had it down. But then I spent 6 straight hours just getting the eyes and mouth on one tiny figure right. I messed up the pupil placement at least 4 times and had to paint over it each time. By the end my hand was cramping and I could barely see straight. Has anyone else spent way too long on a single miniature part?

Did you at least clean your brush between every color? My first time building a model kit I was so focused on the tiny details I forgot to thin my paints and ended up with what looked like a miniature with frosting all over it.

Wait, you actually think cleaning brushes between every color is necessary? I used to just rinse mine off real quick, but after ruining a Warhammer squad with muddy colors I finally learned my lesson the hard way. You ever try to fix a mess like that after it dries?
