That Gloomhaven fight sounds rough, we had a similar blow-up over a Nemesis rule. Honestly, checking the official ruling online just feels like a relief now. It stops the argument so we can get back to actually playing the game.

Yeah, that FAQ is a lifesaver. Stella_murray, do you find yourself checking it more for card wording or for weird monster movement? We got stuck for twenty minutes last week because we couldn't agree if a monster would focus on a character who was invisible or the next closest target. The official ruling was super clear, but the argument almost tanked the whole night.
