Hit 300 plays on a single game before I even realized it
I keep a log of every board game I play, just a simple notebook with dates and scores. Last week I was flipping through it and saw Carcassonne had a tally of 302 plays. That's just the base game, no expansions. I don't even know how that happened since I only pull it out for quick games after dinner. Has anyone else lost track of a game like that?

Used to think tracking plays was kind of overkill, honestly (like, who cares how many times you played Ticket to Ride?). But seeing that 302 number for Carcassonne is wild and kind of makes me want to try it myself. My copy of Kingdomino has got to be pushing 200 plays by now because it's so quick to set up. Might actually have to start writing things down just to see if I'm right.

Honestly @murphy.blair, I felt the same way until someone convinced me to just jot down plays on a notepad by my game shelf. Seeing those numbers add up is surprisingly satisfying and it changes how you think about your collection.

Tracking little numbers really shifts how you see your whole day, not just your game shelf.
