Guy at a game night timed every single move I made

Last month at a local cafe meetup in Austin, this guy pulled out a stopwatch during a 4 hour game of Terraforming Mars and started logging how long each of my turns took. He said 'you're averaging 3 minutes per action, that's why we only got 6 generations in' right in front of everyone, and I just froze. Has anyone else had a player turn a casual night into a performance review, and how do you shut that down without killing the vibe?
