Game night gone wrong when the timer app crashed mid-turn
Last Friday at a friend's place in Portland, we were 2 hours into a 4 player game of a heavy euro and someone's phone died. No big deal, we thought, we'll just use mine. But my timer app kept closing out every 40 seconds because I had low battery saver on. The whole pacing of the game fell apart. People started taking forever, we lost track of who was on whose turn, and by the third round we just gave up and played Codenames instead. Anyone else have a tech fail totally kill a long game session? How do you keep things moving without the apps?
