Friend told me my dice rolling was 'too aggressive' and I finally see it

I used to smack the dice against the tower wall three times before letting them fly, but after a guy at my local shop in Portland pointed out it was doing nothing but annoying everyone, I switched to a gentle toss. Now my rolls are actually more random and the table feels way calmer. Anybody else get called out for a weird habit at the table?

Three dice bounced off the table and rolled clear across the floor last week because I used to give them that hard baseball pitch. Switched to a two inch drop after a buddy literally caught one in mid air and told me to knock it off. Now my rolls actually land in the tray and nobody flinches. Funny how a tiny change can make the whole game more chill.
