Finally tried solo mode on Spirit Island instead of 3-player
Spent 6 months struggling with 3-player games that always fell apart when someone quit. Solo mode is way smoother, and I actually finished a full campaign over two afternoons. Anyone else prefer solo over group sessions?

Absolutely feeling this. Solo mode is a total game changer after dealing with people who bail mid session. I had a group that couldn't finish a single game of Eldritch Horror because one guy always got bored after an hour. Finally tried solo with a single character and beat the whole thing in one weekend without any drama. No schedule conflicts, no one quitting because their dice rolls sucked. Just pure gameplay and actually getting to the end.
