Dropped $120 on a deluxe dice tower, my $3 bowl works better

I got caught up in the hype and bought a fancy wooden tower from a Kickstarter, but the dice bounce out sideways half the time. My cheap ceramic bowl from a garage sale in Dayton does the job cleaner. Anyone else regret a board game accessory splurge?

Wait, you paid $120 for something that shoots dice sideways? That's wild, I've seen those deluxe towers go wrong before but that's a whole new level of broke. My buddy has the same kickstarter one and we just use a shoebox lid for everything now.
