Bought a beat up copy of Acquire at a garage sale in Omaha for $3 and found something wild inside
I mostly buy old games to fill gaps in my shelf, not because I expect surprises. This copy from a garage sale in Omaha had a 1982 receipt tucked in the box, plus a hand written score sheet with names like "Grandpa Ray" and "Betty" from a family game night. What got me was the note on the back: "Ray cheated on the last merger, rematch next Sunday." I looked up the address on the receipt and it is a church now. It made me wonder how many of our games have whole family histories sitting inside them that we just toss out. Does anyone else keep the old score pads they find, or do you clear them out?
