Pro tip: Stop buying those expensive 'organic' fertilizer kits for your lawn

My parents always swore by those fancy box store lawn care plans, so I dropped $120 on a full season kit last spring. Turns out my soil test showed I didn't need half the stuff in it, and my neighbor's grass looks just as good using plain old compost from the county dump. Has anyone else found a cheaper way to keep their yard green without falling for those subscription plans?

i mean, congrats on wasting $120 on dirt math, i guess the real magic ingredient was just convincing yourself it was worth it.
