Mom made me pick between church camp and summer school at 14 and I picked wrong
My mom sat me down in our kitchen in Reno and said I could either go to church camp for 3 weeks or summer school because my math grade was a D. I picked camp thinking it would be fun, but it was 6 AM prayers and no AC in July. I came back with zero math skills and had to retake algebra anyway, so basically I got the worst of both. Did anyone else get forced into a 'choice' that wasn't really a choice at all?
