Tried my new belt grinder on 12 railroad spike knives, my 20 year old bench stone beat it on the plunge lines
Spent $400 on the grinder thinking it would change my life, but the plunge lines came out wavy on the first three blades until I went back to the stone for cleanup. Anyone else find that the old hand tools still win on the details, or am I just bad at holding a steady angle?
