Ugh, that's the worst timing ever, is the universe just messing with you? My luck is so bad that if my blower died, the replacement would probably arrive broken too. Hope you got it sorted without too much extra swearing at the forge. That kind of delay is a real gut punch on a custom job.

Oh man, that reminds me of the time I ordered a new part and it showed up with the wrong threading. (Had to wait another whole week, it was brutal.)

Was it a metric versus imperial threading mix up? I've seen that happen a lot more than it should, and it always kills your schedule.
