Warning: That 96% Rotten Tomatoes score on 'Dark' is actually misleading

I dug into the stats after hearing everyone hype it and found out only 28 critics actually reviewed it - that's barely any compared to huge shows. Has anyone else noticed how Rotten Tomatoes numbers can be totally skewed by small sample sizes?

Only 28 critics" yeah that's why I always check the user count too before trusting any score.

Check the user score on something like IMDb or a channel's own rating system and you'll see the same thing just with different numbers. The whole point of aggregating scores is to get a big picture, but 28 critics is barely a snapshot. Honestly, it makes me trust user reviews more sometimes, at least you know hundreds of real people actually watched it all the way through.
