Just had to pick between rewatching The Wire or starting Mad Men from scratch

I went with Mad Men because I figured a 60s ad agency would feel distant enough from my life. Ended up binging 4 seasons in 2 weeks and now I'm walking around talking like Don Draper. Anyone else get weirdly influenced by whatever show they're deep into?

I ended up binging 4 seasons in 2 weeks and now I'm walking around talking like Don Draper." Yeah that's me but with The Wire. Started talking like Omar when I was deep in season 2. "Indeed." Got a few weird looks at the grocery store. Mad Men made me want to pour whiskey at 10am. The Wire made me want to call people "yo" and stare down random strangers. Both shows mess with your head in different ways.

Five days straight of Mad Men and I started smoking. Bought a pack of Camels at the gas station. Had to throw them out after a week. Show made me feel like a loser for not having a corner office. Never again.
