Finally cracked 30 shows in one weekend and my brain felt like static afterwards

I set a personal record last Saturday by binge watching 5 seasons of a British crime drama in 48 hours. That's 30 episodes total, and by Sunday night I was mixing up character names with people in my real life. My husband asked what I wanted for dinner and I almost said "tea and a biscuit" in a fake accent. Has anyone else hit a crazy episode count and felt genuinely disoriented the next day?

Yeah that 5 season British crime drama you watched, was it Broadchurch or Line of Duty? Did the fake accent thing make you laugh or just feel weird afterwards?

Wait, did nobody talk about how the fake accents actually changed the character dynamics? In Line of Duty, Kelly Macdonald's "Scottish" accent was so bad it made her feel separate from the rest of the cast. Like she was in a different show. It made her character feel less real compared to everyone else. That unintentionally worked, because her character was supposed to be an outsider anyway. So the bad accent actually served the story, even if it was a total accident.
