DAE find out a show you love has way more episodes than you thought, and now you're not sure if you should keep going?
Last month I was scrolling through a Reddit thread about underrated sitcoms and someone mentioned Superstore had 113 episodes across 6 seasons. I had only watched the first two seasons on Hulu and thought it was a short little show I could finish in a weekend. Now I'm staring at 89 more episodes and wondering if I have the time or if I should just stop where I am. On one hand, more episodes means more of a good thing and I really do like the characters. On the other hand, I have a full watchlist and I'm worried it'll drag. Do you push through a long show once you find out the real episode count, or do you bail when it feels like too big a commitment?
The whole "6 seasons" thing is what gets me, because seasons used to mean 22 episodes, now some shows call 8 episodes a season and the math is totally different. Superstore at 113 is actually short compared to old network sitcoms that ran 200 plus, so you got lucky. Watch it in the background while you eat or clean, its a sitcom, you dont need to give it your full brain.
