Caught 10 minutes of Succession at a bar and it flipped my opinion

I always thought it was just rich people yelling at each other until I heard that line about 'you are not serious people' and something clicked about how empty their whole world is. Now I'm three seasons in - anyone else have a show they wrote off until one scene hooked them?

That line is from season 3, episode 6, by the way, not the first season. Did you start with season 1 or jump around?

Wait wait wait, hold on. I literally just rewatched that episode two days ago and I could have sworn it was in season 1 when they first met. Are you telling me I've been wrong this whole time? I even told my friend the quote came from the pilot episode and now I look like a total fool.
