TIL a bike shop in Portland charges $15 extra to true wheels laced with aluminum nipples, and now I know why
Found out after my third seized nipple on the same set of wheels that aluminum nipples gall onto spokes way faster than brass in wet weather, so that upcharge is real labor, not a cash grab.
