Bike shop on Broadway has a genius way to organize cable tools

Went to pick up a cassette tool at that shop on Broadway and noticed they mounted a magnetic strip behind the bench for all the housing cutters and cable pullers. Has anyone else tried this, or am I the last guy still digging through a drawer?

Magnetic strips are fine, but it's not like hanging tools on a wall is some new science. Every mechanic with a toolbox has done the magnet thing at some point, usually because they got tired of losing a 10mm socket. The real test is if that strip actually holds up when you're yanking on a stuck cable housing, not when it's all pretty and organized for a photo. Also, once you throw a few steel tools on there, they just become one big clump you have to dig through anyway. Digging through a drawer is annoying, sure, but it's not the tragedy people make it out to be. It's a bike shop, not an operating room.
