A customer's complaint about my brake bleeds made me switch to a different syringe
They said the lever feel was still a bit spongy after I worked on their gravel bike, so I swapped my old 60ml one for a 30ml medical syringe with a Luer lock. Anyone else find the smaller volume gives you better control to get all the air out?

Totally makes sense. That smaller syringe probably builds way more pressure, which really forces the last of the bubbles out. The luer lock is a game changer too, no more popping off the hose mid-push. I've had way firmer feels since I switched to a similar setup.

Wait, you're getting firmer feels from a syringe? @andrewr65, that's wild. I've only ever used those for like, medical stuff. Never crossed my mind for that.

Ever notice how the right tool for a job just changes everything? Like using a tiny flathead screwdriver to pry open a phone case instead of a butter knife, or a real paint roller instead of a sponge brush. It's the same kind of thing, where the exact tool makes the job actually work right instead of just getting it sort of done.
