Spent 4 hours trying to fix a leaky faucet last weekend

Finally gave up and called a plumber. Took him 15 minutes and cost $120. I could have just done that in the first place. Anybody else waste a whole day on something simple?

The worst is when you watch the tutorial and think "yeah I got this" then three hours later you're staring at pipes wondering where your life went wrong. Did the exact same thing with my garbage disposal last spring... thought I could just shove a wrench in there and fix it. Nope. Called a guy, he was in and out in twenty minutes and I felt like such a fool. That feeling when you finally admit defeat and open your wallet... it stings every time.

Feel that defeat hard, I've been there with my own sink drama and it really makes you question every life choice you've ever made. The worst part is watching them do it in twenty minutes like it's nothing, makes you wonder why you even tried in the first place. But hey, at least now we know when to just call someone from the start instead of wasting a whole afternoon.

Did the same thing with my washing machine, YouTube made it look so easy until water went everywhere.
