PSA: My $350 "professional" resume rewrite was a total waste

Paid a service called ResumeWizards $350 to rewrite my resume for a project manager role. They made it sound fancy but I got zero callbacks in 6 weeks. Went back to my old plain version and got 3 interviews in 2 weeks. Anyone else find these services are just a scam?

Wait these places literally just run your resume through the same AI tools we can use for free, right? I bet they just swapped out your action verbs and called it a day. Honestly sounds like they charged you $350 to learn that your own experience was probably written better than whatever generic template they threw at it.

It's the same scam as those "life coaches" who just repeat basic advice you already know for $200 an hour.
