My wife's comment about my protein powder habit shut me right up at Costco

So I was standing in the supplement aisle at Costco last Saturday, holding two big tubs of whey protein. I was about to say something snarky to my wife about how her fancy collagen peptides were a total waste of money compared to my $40 bulk vanilla whey. She just looked at me and said 'you know those shakes make you gassy at 2 AM, right?' I had nothing. I literally stopped mid sentence with my mouth open. Because honestly she was right. I've been waking up bloated every night for months and blaming the late night snacks. But comparing the two side by side, her collagen costs way more but doesn't wreck my sleep. Has anyone else had a partner call them out on something obvious like that where you just had to admit they were right?

Hold on, she caught him slipping but that's part of the game. If he played it smarter and didn't telegraph his move, he could've still gotten his point across without giving her an opening. She just took the easy shot he left for her.
