Lost $150 on those 'forever' reusable ziploc bags after three weeks

Honestly, I thought I'd save money and the planet, but the seal gave out by day five. After washing them twice they started smelling like old lunch meat no matter what I did. By week three, half of them had holes in the corners and I just tossed the whole batch. Has anyone found a brand that actually lasts more than a month?

Yeah @derek_schmidt6 I feel that. Its like everything nowadays is just a quick cash grab. I notice it with a lot of stuff lately - you buy into the hype and then realize its just not worth it.

That article NPR ran a few months back about influencer culture really opened my eyes to this. It basically said most of these "must have" products are just rebranded junk with a pretty website. The whole system is built on making you feel like you're missing out if you don't buy in right NOW. Drove me CRAZY because I fell for it twice last year with those fancy kitchen gadgets that never got used. The quality is just NOT there anymore compared to stuff from ten years ago. We're all being played and its frustrating watching people throw money at this stuff.
