Almost told my brother his $400 espresso machine was a waste until i tried his iced latte this morning

Spent $35 on my own cheap frother after that and honestly i feel betrayed by my own tastebuds, anyone else ever have to eat crow over something dumb like this?

Dude YES. I did the exact same thing with my buddy's air fryer. He kept going on about how it changed his life and I was like "it's just a tiny convection oven, calm down." Then I tried his chicken wings. CRISPY. Juicy. Perfect. I had one on my counter within 48 hours and now I use it almost every day. Felt like a total idiot but those wings were worth it.

My air fryer sat unopened in the box for six months because I was so stubborn about it. My sister practically begged me to try her frozen fries, and I caved just to shut her up. Now I'm the guy who recommends air fryers to strangers at parties, like some kind of kitchen cult member. I made salmon in there last week and it came out flaky and perfect, not dry like my oven always does. Totally ate my words, and now my regular oven feels like a dinosaur in the corner.

Air fryer salmon is my go-to now because my oven always makes the smoke detector scream lmao.
