That $14 jar of fancy hot sauce is now my emergency plan
I spent $14 on a tiny bottle of smoked ghost pepper sauce last month on a whim, mostly because the label had a drawing of a goat on fire. Turns out it's so potent that a single drop makes plain rice taste like a full meal, which is exactly what I'd want if my last day on earth was some bland hospital tray situation. The cost stung at checkout, but honestly it beats the $60 I wasted last year on a "luxury" chocolate sampler that tasted like wax. I keep the sauce in my work bag now, just in case, and it's become my weird little insurance policy against boring endings. Anyone else got a pricey but worth it final meal item they'd defend to the grave, or is this just my night shift brain talking? What's the most you've dropped on something you'd actually want to die eating?
