Dropped $85 on a "last meal" tasting menu in Austin and left still hungry
So my gf and I did this thing where we picked our dream last meals and actually ate them at a spot in Austin last month. The $85 prix fixe was tiny portions, like three bites of brisket and a thimble of creme brulee. I get it, it's about quality, but if this was really my final meal I'd be mad for eternity. For that money I could've had two plates of good Tex-Mex and a whole pecan pie. Anyone else actually try their death row dinner for real and get let down?
