Pro tip: The janitor at my office said to skip the motion sensor faucet and use the one by the freight elevator. He was right.
The head janitor, Marcus, caught me wrestling with the soap dispenser on the third floor last Tuesday. I was pumping that thing like 15 times and getting nothing but a sad dribble. He told me the motion sensor faucets in the main lobby are a trap because the sensor is set too low and the water is cold, but the old twist-handle sink near the freight elevator on the loading dock actually has hot water and real soap. I tried it the next day and he was totally right. The water got hot in about 3 seconds and the soap was that thick orange stuff that actually feels like it cleans your hands. The fancy sink looks nice for clients but the sensor shuts off after 2 seconds so you can't even rinse properly. I've been walking the extra 50 feet to the dock sink for two weeks now and my hands don't feel gross after washing anymore. Has anyone else found that the ugly old bathroom in their building beats the nice one?
