Just realized the best trick for those automatic soap dispensers that never work
Last week at a gas station off I-40, I had to choose between the hand pump bottle filled with watery soap and the auto dispenser that only spits out a drop if you hold your hand exactly 2 inches away. I picked the auto one, lost count after 6 tries, and walked out with mostly dry hands. Next time I see that setup, I'm going straight for the pump bottle even if the soap looks thin. Honestly, has anyone else found that the high-tech dispensers are just worse than a basic squeeze bottle every single time?

Those auto ones at truck stops are basically a science experiment nobody passed.
