Shoutout to the people who actually weigh their flour

I watched my neighbor scoop from the bag and her cookies spread into one giant sheet, but my recipe from a bakery in Portland says 120 grams per cup and they come out perfect. Why is this still a debate?

Hold up, you're missing the whole point of creativity. Some of the best stuff ever made came from just trying things without a strict plan. Following a recipe step by step kills the chance for a happy accident, you know? It's like music, a lot of iconic riffs were just messed around with until they sounded cool. Treating everything like a science experiment makes things boring and safe. You gotta leave room to figure it out as you go sometimes.
