Shoutout to the 3 ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe that turned into a baking sheet of one giant blob
I mixed 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, and 1 egg on Saturday night because a friend swore it was foolproof. I scooped 12 neat balls onto the sheet, put it in at 350, and 10 minutes later they had all melted into each other into a single cookie the size of a dinner plate. I had to cut it into squares with a pizza cutter and honestly it tasted great, just looked like a sad pancake. Turns out my baking soda was from 2019 and did nothing to hold them up. Has anyone else had a batch merge into one mutant cookie, and did you just own it or try to fix it?
