I spent $30 on a kitchen scale and it fixed my cookie problem.
My cookies were always flat and greasy, and I was just guessing with cup measurements. Weighing the flour showed I was using almost a cup too much. Anyone have a good recipe that uses weight instead of cups?

King Arthur's website has great weight-based recipes, and their chocolate chip one is my go-to.

Yeah, that "guessing with cup measurements" thing is so real. I saw a baker say a packed cup of flour can be like 50% heavier than a spooned one.
