That one Saturday that broke me as a baker
Last Saturday I had 6 wedding cake orders due by noon. My proofer died at 6am, my buttercream split on the third batch, and I dropped a 4-tier cake on the floor at 9. I lost about $900 in product and had to refund two brides on the spot. Has anyone else had a day where everything just fell apart like that?

Was it the proofer dying that threw off your whole schedule, or was the buttercream splitting the first sign things were going sideways? Curious how you think the dominoes actually started falling.
