My stand mixer died 14 minutes into a wedding cake batter and I had to finish by hand
Last Saturday at my kitchen in Sacramento the motor just quit mid mix on a 12 cup batch of vanilla batter. I finished it with a wooden spoon and my arm was shot for two days. Do you all keep a backup mixer or just one and pray?
