Just found out my 'butter' has been margarine this whole time
I was reading ingredients on my usual supermarket butter pack last night (the store brand, you know) and it said 'vegetable oils' right there. My last 3 batches of croissants were flat and greasy and now I know why. Anyone else ever accidentally bake with margarine for months?

Toss that fake garbage" is good advice, I switched to Kerrygold after the same thing and never looked back.

Happened to me too lol. Kerrygold is the real deal if you want actual butter without all that vegetable oil nonsense. Your croissants will thank you for making the switch.
