Forgot to chill my cookie dough and the spread was insane

I mean, I was in a rush and skipped the chilling step, so now I have one giant cookie blob. Maybe it's just me, but how do you handle baking when your kitchen's warm?

Honestly, that "insane spread" might be a good thing (I know, hear me out). Warm dough often bakes into a chewier, more rustic cookie that I prefer over stiff chilled dough. Skip the chilling step on purpose next time for a better treat.

Yes! I always skip the chilling step too (on purpose, like you said). Sorry @the_eva, but that flat, chewy texture is the whole point for me.
