Dropped $75 on a fancy dough sheeter attachment and it just squished my butter into the rollers
I make croissants at home every weekend and got tired of rolling by hand, so I bought a $75 dough sheeter attachment for my mixer. The first batch looked great until I ran the butter block through and it smeared into every crevice of the rollers. Cleaning that thing took 45 minutes with a toothpick and warm water. My husband walked in and asked if I was performing surgery on the mixer. Does anyone have a sheeter that actually handles laminated dough, or should I go back to the rolling pin and a lot of swearing?
