Tried talking to my neighbor about his fence line before building mine, wish I had known about the easement first.

Spent $300 on a survey after he claimed I was 2 feet onto his property, only to find out the real boundary was 6 inches the other way, has anyone else had a neighbor try to pull a fast one with property lines?

Respectfully, a survey before building would have saved you that headache entirely.
