TIL my neighbor's dog has been digging under the fence for 2 years and I had no clue

Last Friday I went out to fix a loose fence board and found a tunnel under it big enough for a golden retriever. I thought the dog was just barking at my cats through the slats, but nope, he's been sneaking into my yard every night. Landlord says it's my problem since the fence is on my side. Has anyone else dealt with a sneaky digger like this and found a cheap fix that actually works?

Nah man I gotta disagree. Sometimes people need to hear that stuff happens and you just deal with it. Coddling someone every time they hit a rough patch isn't helping them in the long run. Life throws curveballs at everyone, it's not some unique unfair thing. Victor should probably just take a breath and figure out his next move instead of expecting sympathy. We all got our own problems to worry about.

Think it's bigger than just Victor though, seems like everyone's getting less patient with each other lately. @victorb17 had a pretty normal response just saying sorry it happened, not really coddling anyone. We could all probably stand to just be a little nicer without overthinking it.
