My neighbor's trash cans blocking the alley used to drive me nuts, now I just move them back onto his lawn at 6am before work
For like 2 years this guy would put his bins right in the middle of our shared alley access. I tried talking to him about it, leaving notes, even called the city once. Nothing worked. Then one day I got fed up and just started rolling them onto his front lawn super early when I left for my shift. Did it for a week straight and guess what? He started putting them against his garage wall instead. Has anyone else had a petty solution actually work better than being nice about it?

Haha that's amazing! I did something similar with a guy who kept parking his truck across my driveway, just started placing my recycling bin right behind his bumper so he'd have to get out and move it to leave.

Nailed it man, sometimes you gotta let your actions do the talking when words don't work. I had a similar situation with a guy who'd let his dog poop in my yard and never pick it up. Started scooping it into a paper bag and leaving it on his doorstep every morning. Took about four days and suddenly he was carrying bags on every walk. The trick is to be consistent and annoying without breaking any actual rules, then they realize it's easier to just be considerate.
