My neighbor's dog barked nonstop for 6 hours straight last Tuesday

I finally went over at midnight to ask him to bring it inside and he told me 'dogs bark, get over it.' Has anyone else had a neighbor just refuse to deal with a barking dog?

Wait, did you try the CLASSIC move of just going over there naked? Because I've been told that WORKS... but honestly I'd probably just trip over my own feet and knock myself out cold on their porch before they even answered the door. I once tried to be firm with a neighbor about their dog barking at 2 AM and ended up apologizing to THEM because my voice cracked so badly. Some people really just don't care, it's frustrating how they hide behind that "dogs bark" excuse instead of actually being a decent human being. I'm starting to think the only solution is to start recording it and sending it to the landlord or animal control every single time.
